Dean is a former Welsh League player over many years with Port Talbot Town and Afan Lido. He also toured South Africa in 1997 with TCSA Director, Frankie Burrows, and the rest of the Welsh Colleges U19 squad. As a coach, he has a proven track record of developing highly technical and tactically aware players and teams. He has a very down to earth, yet professional, focused approach. Over and over again players get two things out of orking with Dean: Enjoyent and Improvement
Frankie has taught and coached all over the world from England and Wales to Australia and USA.
In 2001, he conducted a ground-breaking study on the coaching philosophies of top Premier League Academy Coaches that was published in the FA Coaches' Association Journal Insight.
At Swansea City Football Club he worked as an Academy Coach of the Under 11's and 14's teams. He also worked as a Mental Skills Coach working with players and parents from 11 years up to youth team level. Included in this youth team group was former Swans and now Spurs star Ben Davies.
Frankie specialises in helping to transform the way Footballers, think, behave, learn and perform. In 2010, as a Performance Coach he helped Sian Davies win the World Tae-Kwon-Do Championship and has since worked with a number of full-time professional Football players to improve their confidence and ability bring out the best in themselves when they need it.
He left Swansea City in 2011 to set up TCSA.
Malcolm grew up in Glasgow and was a childhood friend of Sir Alex Ferguson and his brother Martin.
He played for the great ‘Drumchapel Amateurs’ team before being scouted by Motherwell, for whom he signed a Professional contract.
Malcolm went on to play for Bradford and Newport County before retiring through injury.
He then got into Teaching and coaching. He made a name for himself churning out players at Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City before the great Kenny Dalglish head-hunted him and Malcolm became Youth Director at Liverpool Football club.
He developed an amazing record of helping to produce a series of top players who went onto to shine on the Premier League and European stage – Steve McManaman (UEFA Champion’s League Winner with Real Madrid)), Robbie Fowler (UEFA Cup Winner with Liverpool), Dominic Matteo, Craig Hignett and Mike Marsh.
Since leaving Liverpool, Malcolm has established himself as one of the world’s leading ‘Coach Educators’. He created his own method of coaching called ‘Freeflow’ and has presented to UEFA, the French Football Federation, The Swedish FA and countless others around the world.
Although he lives in Bradford, Malcolm has been a spiritual force for TCSA since the start. He met Frankie through the FA Coaches’ Association and the work that Frankie had published in the FACA journal ‘Insight’.
Frankie was extremely ill at the time, but he has never forgotten Malcolm’s amazing support, and they developed a friendship and bond that will last a lifetime. Malcolm now attends and delivers top class coaching sessions on pretty much all TCSA ‘Holiday Elite Weeks’ run at Llandarcy Academy of Sport.
'The Maestro' is a vastly experienced Coach with an outstanding reputation among the thousands of young people he has taught over his 20 year + Teaching and Coaching career. A Swansea City Youth/Academy Coach for 5 years, Darren is a current Senior Psychology Lecturer at Gower College Swansea and FA Level 5 (Top Level) Psychology Coach. He has helped develop numerous players who have gone on to play at the Professional Level, aided by his thoughtful and intelligent coaching style. He is calm, assured, patient, supportive with a deep knowledge of the game and, crucially, how young players learn it. One of the nicest people you could meet and at the same a very strong character.
Born and bred in Manchester, and a lifelong Manchester City Supporter, Darren is also a keen Golfer. He is married to Emma and they have 3 children Oscar, Austin and Ruben.
Stuart is a vastly experienced Goal-Keeper Coach having spent over 10 years with Swansea City's Academy.
He is a consumate professional. A positive communicator who brings a feel good factor to every session. He has a way of correcting and improving players that leaves them feeling empowered. Every session he delivers is well-structured, disciplined, full of energy and enjoyment. He is withouth doubt one of the best Goal-Keeper coaches in the country.
Peter is one of the most promising young coaches in Wales. A student of
the game as a coach since the age of just 14 years old when he started
taking a local U8's team at the age of 14.
At 16, he was coaching school boys U11's... and progressed to working
with every age group up to U16's...winning a number of Welsh Cup
He’s also been a coach at Pontardawe Academy in the Welsh youth League..

Peter has also worked in the USA for two 8 week periods,
He is currently completing his final year of a 3 year BSc Football
Coaching and Performance at University of South Wales .
He is already UEFA B Licence Holder and is now in his second spell with
Peter has a great manner with young players. They naturally want to
listen to him and the way he sets up a session for learning and
enjoyment has a lot to do with it. He has a great way of showing players
the ‘little things’ they can do to become MUCH better and this is why he
is able to have a big impact on them as players and people.
Richard joined the team in 2016. As part of our Pitchside support Team he is on hand at Pitchside during training sessions to ensure you have everything you need whether it is updates, match info, kit orders or passing messages on to coaches. Like you, Richard is a Dad of a Football-Mad kid, Jack - a TCSA Member. Richard is a very positive person and enthusiastic person. He always looks onm the bright side of life and can be relied on to help you get whatever you need to get the most out of your TCSA experience.
James has been with TCSA since the beginning.
He has an impressive background in young athlete development having worked with prmosing elite youngsters from Swansea city Football club's Academy and the Ospreys Regional Rugby Academy. at the heart of James' appoach is an emphasis on develop fundamental movement patterns and 'physical literacy' that become the foundation for more spcecific sports skills. Helping players to become stronger, faster more skilful and SAFER out there on the pitch.
James' sessions are fun and highly engaging. With Bear Crawls, Monkey Walks and Spiderman Crawls...don;t be surpised to see these being practiced in nyour front room by your child after a session with James
Matthew is an exremely dedicated coach who oozes professionalism. He is well organised, thorough and meticulous in his preparation. He specialises currently in working with the younger players helping them to get the best possible start in the game. He is a sport science undergraduate who already brings significant coaching experience. Without doubt, we have a top coaching in the making with Matthew
Chris is a highly qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach and a Phd at Swansea University. chris delivers our Premier Elite Physical Development Programme, providing fitness testing in speed, agility, power and endurance as well as work to significantly improve players in these key areas for Football. He has worked with Professional Footballers as well as rugby teams including Scarlets and Ospreys. Chris has recently joined our Advanced Programme to help take our most ambitious players to the highest level possible.
Claire is in charge of bookings, registrations, kit orders and all things relating to administration of memberships. Claire is a very positive and caring person. Always full of energy and good vibes. She is always looking out for members and coaches alike!
